The Hosokawa Fluid bed drier is a stainless steel, classified, continuous flow flash drier.
It has many advantages over its competetors
as the dwell time is short, it has a continuous de-agglomeration system and a highly sophisticated temperature control system, which all adds to a high specification, free flowing finished product. It can dry in a temperature range of 45C -120C.

The U Trough drier ( UTD ), is a highly versatile oil jacketed 1.5 tonne mixer capable of drying powders up to 50% water wet, in a temperature range from 160C -300C. It is especially effective at drying inorganic salts.

The UTD is also very useful for spray coating powders, particularly if the coating needs to be temperature cured. The UTD has a scrubber action on the effluent exhaust to protect the enviroment.
